Access 2 Card Program

The Binbrook Agricultural Society is proud to be a participating venue in the Access 2 Card Program, helping ensure our events are welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for everyone in our community.

The Access 2 Card supports guests with disabilities who require a support person by removing the financial barrier of an additional admission fee.

How the Program Works

At any Binbrook Agricultural Society event that charges admission:

  • The Access 2 cardholder pays regular admission
  • Their support person receives one free admission
  • A valid Access 2 Card must be presented at the gate or entrance
  • Both individuals must attend the event together

Staff may verify the expiry date on the card.

Who Is a Support Person?

A support person is an adult who assists a guest with a disability in fully participating in the event.
Support may include:

  • Navigating the event area
  • Communication assistance
  • Help with washroom access
  • Administering medication or eating support
  • Mobility assistance
  • Sign language interpretation, visual description, or other specialized help

Their role is to provide support beyond what our event staff and volunteers can provide.

Where the Card Is Accepted

The Access 2 Card is valid at all Binbrook Agricultural Society events that require admission, including:

  • Seasonal celebrations
  • Holiday events
  • Community programs and workshops
  • Fundraisers
  • Special ticketed activities

If an event is free to attend, the card is not required but guests may still bring a support person.
