Terms and Conditions – Binbrook Fair

These are the terms and conditions, that you accept by entering the Fair, the Fairgrounds, and by engaging in any of our related activities.

We as the Binbrook Agricultural Society (BAS), are operating at all times, following the requirements and guidelines of the City of Hamilton, City of Hamilton Public Health, the Laws of Ontario and Canada, and any common sense measures we deem appropriate in addition to those requirements, regulations, and suggestions. All local health unit, Provincial health regulations and safety measures must be followed as mandated by law, when using the premises.

As a visitor/guest/volunteer/vendor, you agree that you are acting within the advised actions at all times, and do not hold the Binbrook Agricultural Society responsible in any way, for any resulting harm, actions, or long term effects.

If you are uncomfortable with any of our imposed conditions of entry or participation, please do not buy tickets, and do not attend.

DOGS:
NO dogs other than Trained Service Dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds during the fair.

SMOKING/VAPING:
There is NO Smoking / Vaping allowed on the fairgrounds except in specifically designated areas.
We have a zero tolerance policy towards Cannabis use on the property, and ask that you respect that, in light of the family environment and the law.

COVID:
In any buildings or enclosed structures, or where specifically posted, we REQUIRE the wearing of masks that fully cover mouth and nose. Face shields are not an acceptable substitute, and if medical conditions preclude the correct wear of masks, we respectfully suggest you not attend the fair.
(a fall fair is an optional thing, we love you, we’d love to see you, but we’ll see you next year!)

In outdoor settings, open spaces, grandstands, rides, lineups, and everywhere else, we do not REQUIRE masks, but we strongly recommend and encourage them.

We do not at this time require vaccinations, but would fully support and encourage all who can be vaccinated, to ‘get the jab!‘… and to that end we will be offering free Fair admission on Sunday of the Fair to any unvaccinated persons who attend the free GoVaxx clinic in Memorial Hall (2600 RR#56), from 10am-12pm, and 1pm-3pm on that day.

Children under the JK age, are again encouraged to similarly comply in all situations, but not required. (please maintain control of them at all times, and keep them in your family bubble when appropriate)

We will have disposable masks available at all entrances, free of charge, and well marked disposal points at exit, to safely discard.

Those in violation of these requirements, will be politely reminded – and if unwilling to comply, will be asked to leave the grounds without refund.

Thank you for working with us, for the good of our community.
